MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

Unless otherwise specified all positions will be based at Kuala Lumpur Campus.

Deputy Director (Department of Human Resource)
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Director in the development, implementation and evaluation of all human resource and industrial relations policies and the overall management and administration of human resource and industrial relations issues in the University College. Candidate:

  • Should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree with good knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws and industrial relation practices.
  • Must be matured and possess excellent leadership, planning, organizational, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience, preferably in an education environment.

Deputy Librarian

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of library operations, planning and development of library services, managing information services and online resources for Kuala Lumpur Main Campus and other Branch Campuses / Faculty Branches.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualifications with minimum of 8 years’ working experience in library management.

Manager (Office of the President)
The successful candidate will be responsible to provide professional and comprehensive administrative support to the President and Vice Presidents. The candidate will be expected to possess good managerial skills to ensure accurate and timely delivery of administrative services. The candidate is expected to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the Office. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.

Manager (Department of Human Resource)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and coordination of all human resource related matters in the University College. The successful candidate will also be responsible to manage and coordinate training and development functions, human resource systems, budgeting, and reports for submission to the Ministry / agencies. Candidate:

  • Should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree with good knowledge of Malaysian Labor Laws and human resource practices.
  • Must be matured and possess excellent leadership, planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in institutions of higher learning..

Manager (Department of Admissions & Credit Evaluation)
The successful candidate will be responsible to plan, manage, monitor, and administer the application, admission and registration processes and related systems support in the admission intakes. The candidate will also be responsible to maintain and manage student records as well as develop and enhance the admissions system and system maintenance pertaining to student admission. Besides supervision of staff, the candidate is also expected to work closely with the Faculties, Centres and Branch Campuses on matters pertaining to admission / student records / student status. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.

Manager (Quality Assurance)
The successful candidate will be required to assist in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and review of quality assurance policies and systems pertaining to academic standards, learning opportunities, management of quality and standard as well as ensuring that internal control and operative systems are in place for effective academic governance. The candidate is expected to liaise with government agencies and accreditation bodies, both local and overseas and be familiar with the auditing processes of these bodies. The candidate is also expected to ensure proper management of ISO 9001:2008/2015. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications with minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.
  • Must have relevant experience in Academic Assurance work and workings of ISO 9001:2008/2015.

Estate Manager (Based at Penang Campus)
The successful candidate will be responsible to plan and execute the overall management of property and service in the Campus as well as overseeing outside vendors, contractors, construction projects, maintenance of grounds, etc. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant professional qualification.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ working experience in the relevant field.

Legal Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible to assist the Legal Adviser in the day-to-day administration of legal matters of the University College. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Law or professional qualifications in the relevant field.
  • Who has been called to the bar is preferred.
  • With strong command of English Language and Bahasa Malaysia and ability to read and write Mandarin would be an added advantage.

IT Personnel

i) Technical Support Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of installing, managing and maintaining of LCD projectors and computer system in teaching venues; maintaining documentation on the equipment.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferably with 1-2 years’ working experience.

ii) Instructional Design Developer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of the e-learning system; provides support and conduct workshops / training to students and staff on the usage of the e-learning system; develop content and courseware for e-learning.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design / IT. Fresh graduates may apply.

iii) Application Analyst
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of system applications.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates may apply.

iv) System Administrator
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and maintenance of AIX based operating systems and TIAS servers.Candidate :

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Preferable with 3 years’ working experience in related field.
  • Who possess AIX certificate is preferred.

v) Database Administrator
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and maintenance of Informix and TIAS database.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferable with 3 years’ extensive hands-on experiences with Informix database and in related field.

vi) Software Developer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of system applications..

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Fresh graduates may apply. .

vii) Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and administration of the computer laboratories including planning, maintaining and troubleshooting of computers.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.

In addition to the above specific requirements, candidates are expected to be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part of a team.

Marketing Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing related activities such as education fairs, school visits, open day and other events deemed necessary.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised degree in Marketing / Mass Communication or qualifications in the relevant field.

Alumni Affairs Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling alumni relations and alumni-related matters. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and executing social media strategy for the University College.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.

Graphic Designer
The successful candidate is responsible for the creative work of designing publicity materials, faculty brochures, prospectus, advertisements, posters, banners, billboards, etc. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent qualifications.
  • With good photography skill would be an advantage.
  • With good knowledge in relevant softwares such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is a MUST.

Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and administration of the laboratories in:

i) Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment
  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, estate management, electronic & electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, material engineering, mechatronics, networking or qualification in the relevant field.

ii)Centre for Pre-University Studies

  • Candidate should possess a recognised degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology / Physics / Chemistry.

Senior Assistant Bursar / Assistant Bursar (Accounts / Internal Audit Officer)
Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualifications. Candidate with working experience in accounting, financial management and internal audit is preferred.

Activities & Sports Coordinator
(Based at Pahang Faculty Branch)

Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Sport Science.

Estate Officer
(Based at Penang Campus & Pahang Faculty Branch)
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out detailed inspections of buildings and campus compound, execute all maintenance and construction activities in the Institution as well as supervise works being carried out by outside agencies.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years’ working experience.

Senior Assistant Registrar / Assistant Registrar
(Based at Kuala Lumpur, Penang Campuses & Pahang Faculty Branch)
The successful candidate will be responsible for all office administration, managing and supervision of staff as well as preparation of documents, minutes of meetings and reports. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • With working experience in an educational institution or human resource operations is preferred.

Student Affairs Officer
(Based at Penang Campus & Pahang Faculty Branch)
The candidate will largely but not solely involved in student financial loans, support services, coordinate campus activities and monitoring student facilities.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Student Counsellor
(Based at Kuala Lumpur, Johor Campuses & Pahang Faculty Branch)

The successful candidate will provide services and programmes to assist students in achieving mental and emotional well-being through individual counselling, career guidance, personal growth group and self-enrichment workshops or programmes, etc.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Counselling or professional qualifications in the relevant field.

Computer Technical Assistant
The candidate will be responsible in providing technical support on ICT hardware and software, configuring, implementing, testing, troubleshooting of ICT equipment, maintaining documentation on the ICT equipment and procedures. Candidate:

  • Should possess a recognised Diploma qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Preferable with working experience in technical support of ICT equipment and software.
  • Should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications and networking system.
  • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team, and keep up with technology changes.

Senior Administrative Assistant / Administrative Assistant
(Based at Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Campuses & Pahang Faculty Branch)

The successful candidate is expected to perform a wide variety of administrative support services which includes maintenance of a comprehensive administrative filing system and any other tasks as may be assigned.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Diploma / Advanced Diploma qualification. Candidate should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications.
