Productivity improvement has become the mantra of manufacturing management in Malaysia in preparation for regional and global challenges. Many managers focus
exclusively on ‘cut cost’ to achieve this while people on the shop-floor focus on ‘more output’. A systematic effort to identify and reduce waste is missing on the shop floor.
This course uses the 7 Waste (MUDA) elimination framework pioneered by Toyota, which is one of the keys to the Lean Production System (Toyota Production System). This course is designed to equip managers and shop-floor personnel with the knowledge and clear methodology to systematically identify, quantify, analyse and reduce waste and increase productivity.
This is a hands-on training designed with group discussion, case studies and shopfloor practical that makes skill transfer easier to accomplish.
