MANAGEMENT / ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

 

Manager, Consultancy and Commercialisation (Centre for Business Incubation and Entrepreneurial Ventures)
The successful candidate will be responsible to spearhead business development activities related to entrepreneurial and startup activities besides managing collaborative projects with the industry and IP commercialisation initiatives in the Centre. The candidate is expected to create or undertake projects that have strong entrepreneurial and startup elements. The candidate has to negotiate on the collaboration model and manage the consultancy/MOA. The candidate is also responsible for the project orchestration and moderation including coordinating student and research resources and facilitate project resources. In addition, the candidate is responsible for the project management including budgeting, documentation/reporting, resources sourcing and facilitating pilot/deployment test and providing technical and science advisory services.

  • Candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Business/ Entrepreneurship/ Technology/Science, a Master or DBA/PhD degree is an advantage.
  • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in entrepreneurship and commercialization related sector. Working experience in educational institution is an advantage.
  • Candidate must possess strong business acumen and project management skills
  • Candidate must possess strong problem solving ability and able to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.

 

Manager (Department of Examinations And Credit Accumulation)

The successful candidate will assist in organizing, planning, and implementing examination-related procedures and guidelines. This includes managing all arrangements for internal and external exams, overseeing pre, during, and post-examination activities. The individual will also ensure daily operations align with policies and regulations, while planning and revising processes when necessary. Responsibilities also include managing operations, delegating tasks, handling human resources, administrative duties, and monitoring budgets. Coordination with various faculties and departments is essential to address examination-related matters. This role also requires in preparing reports, attending meetings, conducting briefings, and ensuring accurate documentation.

  • • Candidate should have 8 years of experience in examination work as an executive or 3 years of experience in examination work as a Manager.

  

International Marketing Executive

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing marketing related activities such as education fairs, school visits, open day and other marketing events deemed necessary.

  • Candidateshould possess a recognised degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Marketing / Mass Communication or a degree in other disciplines with relevant working experience in educational institution.
  • Candidates should possessexcellent communication and analytical skills as well as have positive attitude, outgoing personality and hardworking.

  

Finance Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible to administer end-to-end payroll processing and staff claims; ensuring timely and accurate payments including ad-hoc disbursements. The candidate will also be responsible to manage payroll reporting and serve as the main liaison with statutory bodies related to payroll management. The candidate is expected to establish and maintain organised documentation systems including process enhancements and proactively identify and rectify issues pertaining to payroll.

  • Candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or professional accounting qualifications with minimum of 5 years' working experience in handling end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience in accounting work is an advantage.
  • A good team player.

 

IT Personnel
i) Teaching & Learning Support Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and management of the e-learning system, provide support and conduct workshops / training to students and staff on the use of the e-learning system, develop web services and applications for e-learning.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in computing or education with specialization in training and educational technology. Fresh graduates may apply.
  • • Candidate should be knowledgeable in Google Workspace, learning management systems, video editing apps, authoring tools etc.
  • • Good communication skills.

 

ii) Videographer
The successful candidate will be responsible in the planning and organizing video shoots of events, designing and development of graphics and video contents in support of corporate branding, product marketing and training, providing AV support and live video streaming services for university’s events.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Event Management or equivalent. Fresh graduates may apply.
  • • Must have knowledge in creating and implementing motion graphic.
  • • Must have knowledge in the use of editing equipment and multimedia authoring tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effect, Premiere Pro, Vegas Pro and Edius Pro.
  • • Must have knowledge in handling video camcorder and videography techniques.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part of a team.
  • • Must be willing to travel and ready to work long hours when required.

 

iii) Laboratory Executive (Computer)
The successful candidate will be responsible in the operation and administration of the computer laboratories to ensure smooth operation, schedule lab assistants monthly lab duties, planning and managing laboratories booking, liaise with the faculty on their lab booking request, maintaining and troubleshooting of computers, coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance, Report and follow up on building defect issues or any lab facility maintenance/repairing works, supervise the student ID card printing process.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in any field with 1-2 years of working experience with computer maintenance or lab management is preferred.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and thrive in both independent work and a supportive team environment.
  • • Good communication skills.
  • • Required to work long hours and weekends.

 

iv) System Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible in designing, implementing, and managing server systems and applications, monitoring and maintaining server performance, security, and availability, troubleshooting and resolving system issues promptly and effectively, performing system upgrades, patches, and security updates, developing and maintaining system documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field with 1-2 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
  • • Must have strong understanding of server administration on both Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms.
  • • Must have in-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part of a team.
  • • Must be willing to travel and ready to work long hours and weekends when required.

 

v) Technical Engineer
The successful candidate will be responsible in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as well as basic network connectivity issues, setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment such as projectors, screens, microphones, resolving AV issues includes sound problems and video display problems.

  • • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1-2 years of relevant IT experience preferred.
  • • Must have experience with computer and printer administration.
  • • Must have knowledge of audio-visual systems (projectors, etc.).
  • • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • • Must be resourceful, self-motivated, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; keep abreast with technology changes as well as able to work independently and be part of a team.
  • • Good communication skills.
  • • Ready to work long hours and weekends when required.

 

Laboratory Officer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operations and administrative works of all the laboratories / workshops / centre.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Computer Science or related field.

 

Clinical Psychologist
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our students through individual psychotherapy sessions, interventions, outreach programmes, self-enrichment workshops, events and activities.

  • Candidate should possess a recognized Master's degree in clinical psychological with relevant work experience in a higher education environment.
  • • An accredited psychologist status with a reputable professional body, preferably Malaysian Allied Health Professional Council (MAHPC).
  • • Good knowledge of mental health issues and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

 

Activities and Sports Coordinator

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 in Sport Science.

 

Facilities Management Executive
The successful candidate will be responsible to carry out new building projects, detailed inspections of buildings and campus compound, execute all operation & maintenance activities of the campus as well as supervise all works being carried out by contractors and suppliers.

  • Candidate should possess a recognised Bachelor's degree with Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other related field with minimum 2 years' working experience.

 

Senior Executive / Executive
(Based at Kuala Lumpur, Penang Branch)

The successful candidate will be responsible for all office administration, managing and supervision of staff as well as preparation of documents, minutes of meetings and reports. Candidate:

  • • Should possess a recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.25 or equivalent qualification.
  • • With working experience in an educational institution is preferred.

 

Administrative Assistant
The successful candidate is expected to perform a wide variety of administrative support services which includes maintenance of a comprehensive administrative filing system and any other tasks as may be assigned.

  • •Candidate should possess a recognised Diploma / Advanced Diploma qualification. Candidate should be knowledgeable in MS Office applications.
