TAR College Council Chairman hosted “Buka Puasa”  with Muslim staff and Senior Management

 

TAR College hosted an inaugural “Majlis Buka Puasa”on 23 August 2011 for all Muslim staff at Sports Complex, KL Main Campus. More than 100 enthusiastic Muslim and non Muslim staff attended the event.

The event was graced by YB Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting, College Council Chairman. In his welcoming speech he stressed that all employees regardless of the race or category, play an important role in the development of the College. He reiterated that “Kemalaysianspirit must be inculcated among all the employees of TAR College.”

Besides updating on the development of the College, Tan Sri Ong also informed that the College is also seriously taking care of the staff welfare, and that the payments of the special relief allowance and bonus is a testament of good gesture made by the College.

A wide range of delectable authentic Malay cuisine was served and the guests were entertained with Malay songs. The evening was filled with the excitement when the Chairman and Dr Tan Chik Heok, Principal of TAR College chatted and took pictures with the staff for remembrance. The event helps to strengthen ties “mengeratkan silaturahim”between the College and Muslim staff.
