TAR College students from the School of Business Studies certainly proved their worth by clinching the first runner-up in the team category, second runner-up and Merit Award winner for the individual category in the recent Deloitte Tax Challenge 2011.

Evelyn Tan Li Yi, Chong En Jie, Lau Wei Wei and Soo Chong Teng who are all Year Two Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Business Management cum ICSA) students formed the winning team that walked away with the cash prize of RM 2,500.

In the individual category, Ng Jia Hsiang won RM 500 for winning second runner-up and Lee Chee Kuan won RM 250 as the Merit Award winner. Both students are in Year Two Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Financial Accounting cum ACCA).
