Students from Advanced Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science Year 2 cum BS Degree from School of Arts and Science (SAS) organised a Wheelchair Rugby workshop and competition at the Sports Complex, KL Main Campus.
The main objectives were to introduce to organizers and participants about an unfamiliar sport and also to raise awareness about wheelchair mobility. Besides, students also learned to communicate with disabled individuals and understand their disabilities.
The workshop included a theoretical session taught by an athlete and an official from the Persatuan Sukan dan Rekreasi OKU Negara (PESRON) and a practical workshop for the students.Photo Caption:
