Our Team Horizon, comprising of Steven Yong Siew Hoong, Daryl Lim Xu Yang, Lee Yoong Wai and Ng Chun Sam (all students from the Advanced Diploma in Commerce cum CIMA) won 1st Runner Up and Best Presenter in the national finals of the CIMA GBC, held on 11th June 2011 at the Main Campus in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
The team displayed admirable traits of excellent presentation and good teamwork. Steven Yong, the eloquent best presenter was superbly confident in his delivery. Their dedicated mentors were Mr Lim Chin Hock and Ms Ng Lay Choo, both lecturers from the School of Business Studies.
Thirty students (fifth formers) from SMK Taman Connaught, Cheras also witnessed the prestigious competition and were given the opportunity to experience “campus life” as well as gaining first hand insight into excellence tradition of TAR College.
